Serge, Silvana, Lorette

and Dani 

 

Silvana has always lived around a boxer but it wasn't until 1985 after pestering Serge to buy another one that boxers became part of the family.  We purchased our first boxer 'Rocka'.  A year later 'Rambo' joined the family. By 1990 we had around 6 boxers which grew to around 19 at one stage.  

Silvana's love of whippets found one in our kennels but unfortunately he didn't turn out, so the wait was on for another.  4 years later we purchased in partnership with our dear friend Louise - Champion Kassdalee Wota Lil Anjil (Alf).  We then purchased our first import Champion Kana-Ka Blue Moon (Rosie). Neither of these whippets are in our kennels now but 2 girls from Rosie still live with us. 

The 2 legged kids played a major part in showing and were allowed to pick a breed of their own.  David being the oldest chose beagles as his breed, so we showed and bred them for around 10 years.  

Lorette's love of Standard Poodles saw us ringside fluffing, grooming and showing Poodles.  We only bred 1 litter but eventually got out of this breed when she left home.

Dani's love of pugs came from a very early age of 3 when she went missing at the Ekka - every parents nightmare. After about 10 min of panic searching, we found her in a puppy pen full of pugs. For her 7th birthday (2000), we purchased her first pug, Hayley.  She was mated and we kept Fonz & Comet.  Fonz eventually went into another show home in Townsville where he became a Champion very quickly.  Comet was mated and her daughter Shena was shown. Although we don't have the pugs at the moment, plans are underway to acquire another.

Serge & Silvana are current aspiring judges holding Championship groups for  2, 3, 6 & 7 and Open groups 1, 4 & 5 (Serge) and Championship groups 1, 4 & 5 and Open groups 2, 3, 6 & 7 (Silvana)
